Get Your Stuff Together, also called GYST AI ("we", "us", or "our"), is a personal productivity organiser for saving tasks, receipts, documents, notes, and important dates. This policy explains what information the app handles and the choices you have.
Your account and saved collection use our online service and are stored on our servers, hosted through Replit. Saved items are not stored only on your phone. Your device may also hold authentication credentials, preferences, and cached information. Removing the app from your device does not delete your account or the content stored on our servers.
1. Information we handle
- Account information: your name, email address, account identifier, and a securely hashed password. We also store account relationships when you connect with a household member or team.
- Saved content: item titles, categories, notes, dates, amounts, currencies, renewal schedules, reminders, and assignments. This can include financial or health-related information if you choose to save those records. Please do not submit passwords, payment-card details, or sensitive information that is not needed for the feature you are using.
- Photos you submit: the selected receipt or document image and the details extracted from it when you request AI recognition. This is an optional feature; granting camera or photo-library permission does not upload your whole library.
- Notification information: a device-specific push token, platform, app version, and device name when you register for push notifications. Notification messages can contain saved-item titles, dates, amounts, and reminder details.
- Subscription information: purchase history, transaction and subscription identifiers, plan, billing status, and renewal information. Mobile purchases use Apple or Google Play, with RevenueCat providing subscription management. Web payments use Stripe. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.
- Technical information: request identifiers, request paths and methods, response status, and error or security logs used to operate the service. Some diagnostic records include your account identifier.
2. How we use information
We use information only to:
- save, sync, search, restore, and display the content you choose to keep;
- provide optional reminders, notifications, sharing, and backup features;
- process subscriptions and apply the features included in your plan;
- analyse subscription activity through RevenueCat's purchase history and reporting tools;
- provide photo recognition when you request it; and
- secure, maintain, and improve the app.
Account, collection, purchase, and notification information is linked to your account where needed to provide these features. We do not use this information to track you across other companies' apps or websites for targeted advertising.
3. When information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run features you choose:
- Replit and related infrastructure providers that host the backend and database;
- Apple, Google Play, RevenueCat, and Stripe for the payment and subscription functions described above;
- xAI, through our backend and Replit's connector, when you submit a photo for recognition;
- Expo and the relevant push-notification delivery services, such as Apple's APNs, to deliver notifications;
- household or team members connected to your shared collection;
- apps or recipients you select when exporting or sharing a report or file; and
- authorities when disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect safety or rights.
Household and team connections share the relevant collection, including its existing and newly added items, rather than only individually selected items. Connected members can see names and email addresses needed to identify the relationship; their role may allow viewing or editing. Review who has access before saving private information.
Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Contact us for information about the providers and applicable international-transfer safeguards.
4. AI-assisted photo recognition
When you choose recognition, the image is transmitted to our backend and then to xAI's Grok vision service to suggest an item's title, category, amount, and dates. We do not save the original image as an attachment to your item or in the collection database. Extracted details you choose to save are stored with your account.
Processing is not entirely on your device. Under xAI's standard business API policy, inputs and outputs are deleted within 30 days, unless a different written agreement or legal obligation applies; that policy also states business API data is not used for model training under its standard terms. We do not promise immediate deletion or zero retention by third-party providers. Only submit images you are entitled to share, and avoid unnecessary sensitive information.
5. Storage, retention, and deletion
We keep account information and saved content while your account is active. You can delete individual items, or permanently delete your account from Settings → Delete account after confirming your password. Successful account deletion removes your account and owned collection, cloud backups, account relationships, registered push tokens, and related reminders and notifications from the application's database. You can also contact us for help with an access or deletion request.
Account deletion does not automatically erase independent payment-provider records, service logs, or copies you have exported to other apps or recipients. Providers retain records under their own policies; limited records may be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or accounting requirements. Contact us about provider-held information or further deletion requests.
Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple or Google Play subscription: cancel it through the store that billed you. For a linked web subscription, the account-deletion process attempts to cancel the Stripe subscription before removing the account; if cancellation fails, account deletion is stopped and an error is shown. Simply uninstalling the app does not cancel any subscription.
6. Your choices and rights
You may choose not to use notifications, photo recognition, or sharing, and can manage camera, photo-library, and notification permissions in your device settings. Notifications may show saved information on your lock screen; review your device's notification-preview settings. Account-based storage remains part of the core service. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, object to, or restrict processing of your personal information, including rights under UK/EU GDPR or applicable US state laws. Contact us to exercise those rights.
7. Children and security
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app or its features change. We will update the effective date above when we make a material change.
